What is an International Wedding Certificate in Denmark?

After marrying in any Danish town hall, you'll receive two multi-lingual international wedding certificates in Danish, English, German, French, and Spanish. You, along with the two witnesses, will sign a document kept by Danish authorities for 50 years, while you'll receive the two certificate copies. For use abroad, you may need an Apostille stamp, which we can assist you in obtaining through our Legalisation service. We advise checking with your government or immigration office upon returning home to see if this is necessary.

Katie made a miracle happen. She was able to secure a wedding license in 4 days and book the beautiful Copenhagen City Hall for early the following week. By December 22nd, the couple was happily married. Katie made every possible effort to make sure the couple’s dream became a reality, including be available to answer messages at all times of day and night (we live in a completely different time zone) through WhatsApp. Katie simplified the process for us, knew exactly how to present every document to avoid problems down the road, and advised us on all details, even those that I was going to handle myself.
